INTRODUCTION:
WELCOME TO THE SUN RA MUSIC ARCHIVE
This is a legitimate website established for Sun Ra by Arkestra member and executive music archive director Michael D. Anderson. As a “Members Only” organization; the principle of this website is to bring dedicated Sun Ra music fans up to date on what is happening with his music, personal stories, and other related information. Sun Ra Music Archive Members will have exclusive access to what The Sun Ra Music Archive will make available exclusively to them.
Mr. Anderson has chronologically compiled an extensive discography of Sun Ra recordings which is set to be released in book form in the very near future. Other books involve telling another side of the story of the life and times of Sun Ra and the members of the Arkestra from an insider’s point of view. The book will discuss the various participants who helped make the Arkestra what it became over a 55 year period.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
In establishing our membership database; upon your interest as a dedicated fan, you are automatically a member. We ask that you only spread the word about The Sun Ra Music Archive to serious Sun Ra music fans by a word-of-mouth solicitation.

CLOSING STATEMENT
In building this website we did not have access to photos that are now lost or “SAFEGUARDED” by other individuals. We acknowledge every photographer and there photographs that The Sun Ra Music Archive may have used in the building of this website. We would like to also ask that any individuals who have Sun Ra photographs that we would so kindly share some of your photographs with us for the enjoyment of our many fans globally.
The Sun Ra Music Archive looks forward to having you as a member as we continue to perpetuate the legacy of Sun Ra by unearthing and clarifying various important facts about his visit to PLANET EARTH.
